Excellent opportunity to work for a Tier 1 contractors Utilities division, working on the AMP8 Anglian water framework.

Location: Cambridge
Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 basic + Car or allowance + Package

Role Description
The Resolute Group is working in partnership with a Tier 1 contractor who operates across the UK focused on the Infrastructure sector. With Frameworks across the Water, Highways, Aviation and Rail sectors supported by individual projects worth up to £400m in value.
This role is working on the upcoming AMP8 that will start in 2025 supporting Anglian Water in the upgrading of the Water network system. As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you need to be able to manage a small team of Quantity Surveyors while still overseeing the final commercial sign-off on projects. Working with the Commercial Manager in creating the reports, handling final accounts and any changes happening within the contract.

If you are a Senior Quantity Surveyor this could be a great opportunity to progress in to man management. Still keeping a handle on the Commercial contracts while developing and mentoring the team around you. The framework is based on NEC form of contract and happy to look at people from:
  • Water
  • Highways
  • Rail
  • Aviation
  • Environmental / Coastal

This role is office based 3 days a week, then 2 days a week from home as you need to be around your Quantity Surveyors. Face-to-face support and mentoring are key when managing and developing your team.

Qualifications / Experience
  • Degree qualified – Ideally in Quantity Surveying
  • Experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with proven ability in developing more junior members of staff.
  • Full driving licence
