MEP Commercial Director
Excellent opportunity to join a Tier 1 consultancy and lead their MEP offerings to the UK and European client base.
Location: - UK (Flexible)
Salary: £140,000 - £160,000 basic + Car or Allowance + Bonus
Hybrid working: 2-3 days from home and 2-3 days in one of the offices across the UK. Flexibility is key due to the client base and meetings that you will be leading.
Role Description
The Resolute Group has been retained by a Tier 1 consultancy to Identify and secure a MEP Commercial Director to take the lead on £500m+ Programmes on behalf of clients across the Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical and Data centre industries.
Working on behalf of the client in creating and managing major programmes of work from a Commercial aspect. Focusing on the MEP aspect of the project due to the size and scale of the MEP within these sectors. Taking ownership of the Commercial process, developing and implementing a comprehensive commercial strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives.
As a Consultant, your duties will vary but could also include:
With multiple contracts being awarded there is flexibility in terms of your UK location and background. Full travel and lodging costs are covered by the company, with some clients looking for support across their Global portfolio. Operating a hybrid model you will expect to be at home 2 days a week but this depends on the client and programme of work.

- Contract Management: Ensure that all contracts are executed effectively, minimizing risks and maximizing revenue.
- Financial Performance: Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and driving profitability.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for the company.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team of commercial professionals.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate commercial risks associated with major projects.

- Degree – Minimum requirement in Quantity Surveying or Construction-based subject.
- Major project experience – Having at least 1x major project £100M+ in size with you controlling the MEP package as part of that programme.
- This is NOT an operational role, you are not managing a team but managing a programme of work with the team supporting.
