Planning Manager – New Zealand
Leading the Planning function for a £1bn infrastructure project based in New Zealand.
Location: - New Zealand – Happy for relocators to apply
Salary: - £100,000 - £120,000 basic + Car or Allowance + Relocation + Package
(House is provided for 1 month after this you will be expected to rent or buy your own home as this is a permanent role. Looking for someone willing to fully relocate to New Zealand)
Role Description:
The Resolute Group has been retained by a Main Contractor in New Zealand to support the mobilisation of a £1billion construction project as part of the development plan for Auckland.
With the Leadership team in place, the Planning Manager will take the programme from the start on Site through to completion and hand back. Supporting the Construction Director, Commercial Director and Technical Directors leading the scheme. You will have 2x Planning Engineers reporting in to you as well as Junior Engineers that will be developed across the construction programme.
The ground works are already underway with the build programme starting in Quarter 2 2024.
Then a 5-year build programme broken down into Structures, Facades and Fit-Out with each package valued between £200m - £400m
As the Main contractor on site, you need to have come from a Tier 1 / Main Contractor background and worked on New build major construction projects. Ideally valued £100m+ but open on Construction or Infrastructure as your engineering experience and ability to lead the planning on a major scheme is more important than the software you are using.
Full relocation is available for you and your family from getting your initial accommodation, support with Schooling and the moving of your possessions into the country.
This is not an Ex-pat package as the expectation is that you will be a permanent member of the team and see the programme through to completion

Experience / Qualifications:
You need a Degree to be eligible for the 5-year working visa provided by the New Zealand authorities.
