Job Description
The Resolute Group is working in partnership with an International Construction Company who are looking to expand their Project Management Team, focusing on fit out and shell construction for retail and office projects across Germany.
Day-to-day duties could include:
- Managing fit-out and shell construction projects across Germany, overseeing all phases from initial planning to handover.
- Regular nationwide travel to project sites to monitor progress, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure smooth execution.
- Acting as the central point of contact for clients, contractors, and design teams, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, and quality expectations.
- Preparing and managing project schedules, resource allocations, and budgets, tracking progress and identifying deviations early.
- Overseeing procurement activities, tender processes, and contract negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ensuring strict compliance with German building regulations, technical standards, and local approval procedures.
- Identifying project risks and implementing proactive mitigation strategies to maintain safety, quality, and programme targets.
- Preparing comprehensive project reports and presenting updates to clients and internal leadership.
Requirements for the role:
- Degree in Construction and Real Estate Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- 2–3 years’ experience in project management or project coordination within the German construction sector, ideally within fit-out projects.
- Fluent German (minimum C1) and strong English skills, both written and spoken.
- In-depth knowledge of German building laws, regulations, and approval processes.
- Willingness and ability (Driving Licence) to travel frequently across Germany for project oversight.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with clients, contractors, and design teams.
