Senior Mechanical Engineer – London  

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to play a key part in in the growth of an expanding M&E team within an International, Engineering and Design Consultancy, to focus on commercial and built environment projects.  

Location: London  
Salary: Up to £75,000 + Package benefits  

Job Description:  

The Resolute Group is working in partnership with an International, Engineering and Design Consultancy to assist with expanding their M&E Team.  

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the team to develop mechanical designs for commercial and built environment construction projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements and specifications.
  • Create detailed diagrams and layouts for HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems, coordinating with other disciplines to secure initial space reservations for equipment and infrastructure.
  • Use 3D Revit/BIM software to model mechanical installations based on diagrams and space allocations, ensuring accuracy and integration with other building systems.
  • Address any design challenges or modifications during the construction phase, ensuring prompt resolution and adherence to project timelines.
  • Participate actively in design reviews and project meetings, providing input to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of mechanical systems.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations in mechanical engineering and construction, applying best practices to project designs and workflows.
  • Assist in preparing technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, to support construction and commissioning of mechanical systems.
  • Ensure a commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability in all aspects of mechanical engineering design and construction.
Experience:
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Ideally 5+ years of relevant experience within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency with Revit / CAD software.
