Senior Project Manager – Stuttgart (Building Construction & Infrastructure)

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver complex building and infrastructure projects, combining technical expertise with a client-focused approach.

Location: Stuttgart
Salary: €75,000 – €95,000

Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to take ownership of diverse and challenging construction projects across Germany. The role covers all stages of the project lifecycle, from concept to handover, ensuring delivery to the highest quality, time, and budget standards.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Lead the management and control of high-profile building construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee all project stages in line with AHO Series 9 (or equivalent frameworks), ensuring both technical and commercial success.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and ensure smooth collaboration between clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
  • Provide strategic advice and hands-on support to clients throughout the project.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
  • Monitor compliance with HOAI and relevant building regulations.
  • Implement and manage BIM processes, driving digital project delivery.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or Technical Building Services (university/FH).
  • Several years of professional experience in project management or project control for complex construction projects.
  • Proven knowledge of HOAI and AHO Series 9, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience in BIM project coordination or BIM management.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
  • Business-fluent German (C1 minimum) and very good English skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools; BIM software skills desirable.
  • Driving licence (Class B).
